Our Story

My passion for the love of the water and boating began for me at a very young age. Growing up, my brothers and I spent our weekends and summer vacations at the shore with our grandparents. My father was a custom home builder and loved his job but he was happiest building boats. The most memorable boat was called the Fury II, a fast ski boat. This is the first boat where I learned how to work on boats, mechanically and structurally. At the same time he had the Fury II, my father also had a small fishing boat. At age 10, I learned to drive the boats. I was also able to help with the maintenance including fiberglass repairs. At age 17, I purchased the Fury II from my father. I continued to have more great memories with my friends and family for many years. The Fury II was the first of 10 boats I have owned. I became a licensed captain at age 29. I ran a custom sport fishing boat that was used for offshore fishing charters and tournaments.

I married and had 2 children. My son and daughter both share a love for the water and boating. They were both fortunate to be able to grow up at the beach and have access to all kinds of boats and water experiences. At age 12, my son developed a real interest in fishing after catching his first fish in the ocean. When he was 13, he caught his first white marlin. It was then he was hooked. It brought back so many memories of my father and I. In July of 2020, my dad, my son, and I entered our first fishing tournament together in Beach Haven, NJ. and took third place.

It was how the 3 G’s of Fury came about. The three generations together.
